About the Role

Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Quality and Performance to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality improvement plans to enhance patient care and safety
  • Lead the quality and safety team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards
  • Collaborate with clinical staff and other stakeholders to identify and address quality and safety concerns
  • Develop and maintain performance metrics and reports to track quality and safety outcomes
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff on quality and safety initiatives
Requirements
  • Master's degree in healthcare or related field
  • 5-7 years of relevant hospital operations and management experience
  • 3 years of experience leading project management or change initiatives in a healthcare setting
  • Working knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with management, clinical staff, and other stakeholders
