About the Role

Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Quality and Performance to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality improvement strategies to enhance patient outcomes and safety
  • Lead the development and maintenance of quality metrics and reporting systems
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to identify and address quality improvement opportunities
  • Provide leadership and oversight to the quality and safety team
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Participate in the development and implementation of the hospital's quality improvement plan
Requirements
  • Master's degree in healthcare or related field
  • 5-7 years of relevant hospital operations and management experience
  • 3 years of experience leading project management or change initiatives in a healthcare setting
  • Working knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with management, clinical staff, and colleagues
