Type of Employment: Full-time – Permanent
Job Responsibilities:
- Train employees in their respective roles
- Prepare and submit financial reports
- Address and resolve work-related issues
- Ensure the accuracy of financial transactions
- Coordinate, assign, and review tasks
- Collaborate with other departments or work units
- Store, update, and retrieve financial information
- Perform clerical tasks, including maintaining filing and record systems
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Conduct general clerical duties
- Manage multiple clients with varying concerns
- Monitor daily timesheets for management billing
- Provide administrative support as needed
Qualifications:
- Education: Completion of a college program in accounting/bookkeeping or related courses is required.
- Experience: At least 1 year of supervised bookkeeping experience is necessary.
- Skills: Proficient use of phone, fax, and email technology, along with multitasking abilities.
- Personal Attributes: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, client-focused, organized, and reliable.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced with tight deadlines and a substantial workload.
- Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of accounting software such as Sage 50, Sage 300, QuickBooks, and familiarity with MS Office applications.
- Supervisory Skills: Ability to oversee a small team of 3-4 individuals.
- Language: Proficiency in English is required.
Compensation: $35.90 per hour, 40 hours per week.
