Position Overview: The Financial Accountant will support EasyOutsource in managing its financial operations, including but not limited to, executing accounting and bookkeeping functions and overseeing internal administrative tasks related to finance.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintains subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.
  2. Balances subsidiary accounts through reconciliation of entries.
  3. Manages the general ledger by transferring summaries from subsidiary accounts.
  4. Ensures the general ledger is balanced by preparing trial balances and reconciling entries.
  5. Develops a comprehensive system for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts and defining bookkeeping policies and procedures.
  6. Preserves historical records by organizing and filing documents.
  7. Generates financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
  8. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying regulations, enforcing adherence, filing reports, and advising management on necessary actions.
  9. Contributes to team efforts by achieving related results as required.
  10. Maintains the LCP dropbox or storage drive to ensure it is current and complete.
  11. Eventually conducts audits and prepares audit reports and final financial statements (future task).
  12. Collects invoices and supporting documents from team members and prepares reimbursement statements for submission to clients.
  13. Verifies invoices and expense statements from team members and forwards them for approval and payment.
  14. Records all entries in Tally or other accounting software.
  15. Regularly prepares client invoices (e.g., monthly) or during events.
  16. Follows up on outstanding payments.
  17. Prepares outstanding statements for clients and team members.
  18. Prepares additional statements as requested by the Founder CEO and other managers.
  19. Creates travel budgets for team members' trips.
  20. Compares sales and marketing budgets of clients with actual figures.
  21. Acts as a liaison with financial institutions regarding loans and insurance matters.
  22. Performs other duties as required by the Founder CEO or management.
Required Competencies:
  1. Highly organized and methodical.
  2. Strong attention to detail.
  3. Honest and dependable.
  4. Proficient in Excel and other database programs.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  6. Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
  7. Understanding of the luxury goods and services sector.
  8. Interest in a fast-paced, intellectually stimulating environment.
  9. Demonstrates a strong work ethic and flexibility suited for a dynamic start-up.
  10. Effective communication skills, particularly in listening to colleagues and clients.
  11. Builds trust with others.
  12. Service-oriented and process-focused.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accountancy, Cost Management, Financial Management, or Business Administration.
  2. Fluent in English.
  3. Willingness to work flexible hours to accommodate demanding clientele.
  4. Experience in the hospitality industry is preferred.
  5. Proficient in financial software applications.
