Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing comprehensive accounting support for various client accounts, including full-cycle management and preparation of monthly financial statements.
  • Collaborating with client Treasurers and Financial Committees to address inquiries and provide necessary information.
  • Managing online banking transactions and facilitating international fund transfers.
  • Assisting in the oversight of investment accounts and maintaining effective communication with banking personnel.
  • Performing general administrative tasks related to accounting and office management.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding of Canadian accounting standards and CRA regulations.
  • Experience in the not-for-profit sector is preferred.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts efficiently.
  • Post-secondary education in accounting or finance, with progress towards CPA qualification or equivalent.
