Overview of Your Role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Benefits & Pension Specialist to enhance our Compensation & Benefits team. This role involves collaborating with the Compensation and Benefits team to design and implement comprehensive benefits and pension programs tailored for Siemens Energy North America. You will oversee the effective administration of these programs, working closely with third-party administrators and service providers, while continuously seeking opportunities for process enhancements.
Your responsibilities will include supporting and leading activities related to compliance requirements on a quarterly and annual basis. You will also assist in preparing materials for leadership meetings and updates. Additionally, you will be tasked with creating clear and effective communications for HR, managers, and employees regarding benefits programs, utilizing various communication channels such as email and internal platforms.
Your Impact:
In this role, you will be recognized as a subject matter expert for your designated programs, providing support to the HR team with inquiries and escalations.
Qualifications:
- Preferred Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in managing and administering benefits & pensions in Canada.
- Current knowledge of Canadian laws and regulations affecting HR, Compensation, & Benefits.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Able to work effectively as part of a virtual team while being self-directed.
- Comfortable in a flexible/hybrid work environment, utilizing both in-office and online collaboration tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Fluent in English; advanced proficiency in Canadian French is an asset.
