About the Role
The Sales Associate plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth in our stores. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on eyewear and optical solutions, ensuring every customer leaves our store satisfied and empowered to make informed purchasing decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences to provide personalized recommendations.
- Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings, ensuring customers receive the best possible solution for their vision needs.
- Assist customers in selecting frames, coordinating measurements, and providing guidance on optical solutions.
- Conduct measurements using optical tools and consult with Opticians as needed to ensure accurate and precise results.
- Contribute to a positive store environment, fostering strong relationships with colleagues, management, doctors, and support staff.
- Maintain a clean, attractive, and organized store appearance, adhering to company standards.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1+ year experience in retail or customer service.
- Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers, and calculators, with basic phone and math skills.
- Ability to sell through effective use of sales skills and accountability for sales results.
- Strong communication skills (oral and written).
- Self-motivation and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
