We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lab Manager to join our team at Hoya Vision Care Canada. As a leader in optical technology innovation, we are committed to delivering high-quality vision care solutions to eye care professionals.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our optical lab, ensuring efficient production processes, and maintaining high-quality standards. This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the lab team, ensuring maximum productivity and engagement
  • Work closely with the Customer Service team to troubleshoot and resolve quality issues
  • Adjust staffing schedules to meet changing production demands
  • Ensure compliance with company guidelines and policies
  • Analyze and resolve work-related problems
  • Manage staff concerns and issues promptly and fairly
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in production, manufacturing, or management
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role in a production and/or optical environment
  • Strong management and leadership skills
  • Technical knowledge of optical principles and lab processes
