POSITION SUMMARY
The primary role of the Store Manager is to serve as a pivotal leader within the LensCrafters framework. This position is responsible for achieving key performance metrics by embodying the Brand Story and ensuring an exemplary customer experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to delivering unparalleled Customer Service by ensuring that the LensCrafters team effectively executes the Sales and Service Process.
- Exemplifies the Diamond Service Principles and Service Vision with every customer interaction.
- Provides hands-on training and mentorship to team members utilizing Company-provided resources.
- Evaluates store financial performance and recommends actionable strategies to enhance retail profitability.
- Aims to achieve outstanding results in the following areas:
- NPS – Net Promoter Score
- % Sales to Plan
- Customer Footfall
- Store Profitability
- % Training Saturation
- Key Performance Indicators, including exam growth and retention
- Identifies and recruits top-tier talent.
- Forecasts staffing requirements using the labor scheduling model.
- Handles administrative tasks such as payroll, inventory oversight, and technical applications.
- Inspires associates to deliver a customer experience that surpasses expectations, as measured through the NPS portal.
- Collaborates with the Doctor of Optometry to enhance business partnerships and joint planning.
- Ensures compliance with Company policies regarding inventory management and safety protocols.
- Implements the LC Inventory Management System and Order Tracker as part of the global POS framework.
- Maintains adherence to all approved safety programs and conducts regular safety inspections of the store.
- Maximizes Optometric partnerships through active participation in various initiatives.
- Fosters a safe and enjoyable work environment for all team members and customers.
- Takes pride in the store's visual presentation and executes directives to maintain a consistent brand message.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 4+ years of management or supervisory experience.
- Thorough understanding of operations, processes, and business implications.
- Strong negotiation and influencing abilities.
- Proven team-building and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of current optical theory and product offerings.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Basic math proficiency (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Sales acumen.
- Familiarity with cash registers, computers, and calculators.
- Ability to manage time effectively under tight deadlines.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- College degree or equivalent experience.
- State licensure (if applicable) and/or ABO Certification in non-licensed states.
- Certification as a LensCrafters Final Inspector.
- Completion of the LensCrafters Quality, Fitting, and Adjusting Program.
- Prior experience in customer service and retail environments.
- Familiarity with current store merchandise.
- High level of business acumen, including detailed knowledge of the LC Dashboard.
