Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the operational performance of stores through collaboration with store and pharmacy managers, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitate the seamless integration of newly acquired stores and transitions, ensuring adherence to operational protocols.
  • Ensure that stores within the region are tailored to meet customer needs while maintaining the company’s brand identity.
  • Guide teams in executing initiatives developed by Merchandising, Operations, and Pharmacy to achieve financial and operational targets.
  • Provide leadership and inspiration to store management by exemplifying core values.
  • Manage human resources functions including talent acquisition, training, staff development, performance evaluations, and employee relations.
  • Encourage a culture of cross-training to ensure staff achieve necessary skill levels and promote continuous learning using available resources.
  • Maintain awareness of competitive dynamics in the marketplace and monitor changes in competitor strategies.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support Katz Group Canada.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of relevant management experience, particularly in retail operations.
  • Exceptional planning, organizational, and prioritization abilities.
  • Proven experience in decision-making roles.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a focus on empowering teams.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
  • Competence in budget planning and execution.
  • A valid driver's license is necessary.
