Position Overview
As a pivotal member of Dynacare, the Regional Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the effective functioning of Laboratory and Health Services Centers across various locations. This role is essential in ensuring that our operations align with the strategic objectives of Dynacare, focusing on enhancing team dynamics and fostering a culture of exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the transformation of Laboratory and Health Services Centers within the region to a new operational model that prioritizes outstanding customer experiences.
- Cultivate a positive workplace atmosphere through strong employee relations and teamwork, adhering to established human resources policies.
- Promote transparent communication with team members, addressing feedback and ensuring alignment with corporate and departmental goals.
- Collaborate with senior management for guidance to maintain a positive experience for clients and employees.
- Develop and manage a high-performing team through strategic recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and recognition initiatives.
- Engage with clients to ensure their needs are met through professional and timely responses to inquiries and concerns.
- Analyze operational workflows and recommend improvements to enhance service quality and efficiency.
- Conduct regular reviews of key performance indicators to ensure operational excellence and implement corrective measures as necessary.
- Participate in ongoing improvement projects that align with regional and corporate strategies.
- Manage regional budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities and recommending enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, promoting a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- A degree in Healthcare, Science, or Business, with a minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in a customer-focused environment.
- Proven experience in a related field, ideally 3-5 years.
- Proficient in computer applications, including MS Office.
- Training in Lean Six Sigma and/or Change Management is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with all levels of staff and management.
- A collaborative team player with a strong initiative and customer-centric approach.
