Long Term Care Support Clerk

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Clerk to join our team at the City of Ottawa's Long Term Care facility. As a key member of our Resident Care team, you will provide administrative and clerical support services to ensure the smooth operation of our nursing units.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the nursing units, including data entry, record-keeping, and communication with residents and families.
- Assist with the planning, coordination, and implementation of long-term care activities, programs, and services.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including resident information, medical records, and administrative documents.
- Collaborate with the Resident Care team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and services to residents.
- Perform other administrative tasks as required, including answering phones, responding to emails, and providing general administrative support.
- Completion of Grade 12
- Minimum of 3 years of office administration experience, with 1 year of experience in a long-term care or health administration setting
- Strong knowledge of office and administrative management practices, records management, and project management
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
