Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Floral Long Term Care. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of residents' physical and emotional needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Medication Management: Administer medications accurately, monitor residents' responses, and investigate any medication-related issues or errors.
- Communication and Collaboration: Maintain open and effective communication with residents, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making and optimal care outcomes.
- Leadership and Supervision: Provide guidance and support to licensed practical nurses (LPNs), certified nursing assistants (CNAs), and other healthcare staff to ensure high-quality care delivery.
- Documentation and Reporting: Accurately document resident care, progress, and any concerns, and report significant events or changes to the healthcare team.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identify areas for improvement, and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance resident care.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, with a minimum of [insert experience] years of experience in long-term care or a related field.
