About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ethnic Food Cook to join our team at Rajdhani Sweets & Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as managing kitchen operations and supervising staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation
    • Plan menus and estimate food requirements for special events and daily operations
    • Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes
  • Kitchen Management
    • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
    • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
    • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Special Events Coordination
    • Co-ordinate special events and functions
    • Plan and prepare food for special events
  • Staff Training and Development
    • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • Safe Food Handling certificate
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Work Environment
    • Restaurant environment with fast-paced and physically demanding conditions
