About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ethnic Food Specialist to join our team at RAJDHANI SWEETS & RESTAURANT. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for coordinating special events, determining food portion sizes and costs, and planning menus to meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement menus that showcase our restaurant's unique ethnic cuisine
    • Estimate food requirements and costs to ensure efficient operations
  • Food Preparation and Presentation
    • Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes to meet customer demands
    • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Kitchen Operations and Management
    • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure smooth operations
    • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
    • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain high standards of hygiene
  • Staff Training and Development
    • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
    • Ensure staff are aware of safe food handling practices
  • Certifications and Compliance
    • Hold a Safe Food Handling certificate
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Work Environment
    • Restaurant environment with fast-paced and physically demanding conditions
