Job Title: Pharmacy Aide

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Aide to join our team at Westpark IDA Drugs. As a Pharmacy Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy of prescription information, maintaining inventory of medications and pharmaceutical products, and providing support to our pharmacists.

Responsibilities:
  • Verify prescription information for accuracy and completeness
  • Maintain inventory of medications and pharmaceutical products, including ordering and stocking
  • Assist pharmacists with dispensing medications and providing patient care
  • Enter client information into databases and maintain accurate records
  • Prepare medications for clients and compound, package, and label pharmaceutical products
  • Bill third-party insurers and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
