Position Summary:

The Lead Control Systems Engineer will oversee control system projects, taking charge of hardware and software design, development, integration, testing, and installation support. This role requires effective communication and collaboration with project leads, supervisors, and company executives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, accompanied by relevant technical experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the field.
  • Demonstrated success as a Control System Engineer or in a similar role for 1-3 years.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Duties:

  • Exhibit proficiency in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Show independence in field operations.
  • Lead project team members during installation, start-up, and commissioning phases.
  • Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
  • Interpret piping & instrumentation diagrams and wiring schematics.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of Human-Machine Interface (HMI) and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) applications.
  • Familiarity with the company's Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Review technical documents for accuracy and clarity.
  • Assist in intermediate control system design with oversight.
  • Provide specifications for instrumentation in basic control systems.
  • Understand IT systems, network infrastructure, and computer system design related to control system integration.

  • Communicate effectively and positively with clients.
  • Adhere to customer-specific standards and procedures.
  • Maintain professionalism in all business interactions.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and support.
  • Be attentive and responsive to client needs.
  • Follow through on commitments made to customers.
  • Understand and address customer requirements proactively.
  • Complete tasks accurately and within budget.

Project Management:

  • Recognize the scope of assigned work and communicate any issues to project leads.
  • Manage individual project tasks and small to mid-sized projects effectively.
  • Provide timely updates on task status.
  • Understand project contracts and specifications.

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

On-Call Requirements:

  • Participation in an on-call rotation may be necessary based on client needs.

Work Authorization:

  • Eligibility to work in the respective country is mandatory.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Must be fit for duty at all times.
