Position Overview:

The Lead Control Systems Engineer will oversee control system projects, focusing on hardware and software design, development, integration, testing, and installation support. This role requires collaboration with project leads, supervisors, and company leadership to ensure project success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, along with relevant technical experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of professional experience, with a proven track record of 1-3 years in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Duties:

  • Exhibit proficiency in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Demonstrate independence in field operations.
  • Lead project teams during installation, start-up, and commissioning phases.
  • Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) effectively.
  • Interpret piping & instrumentation diagrams and wiring schematics accurately.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of Human-Machine Interface (HMI) and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) applications.
  • Familiarity with the company's Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Review technical documents for accuracy and clarity.
  • Contribute to intermediate control system design with guidance.
  • Provide specifications for instrumentation in basic control systems.
  • Understand IT systems, network infrastructure, and computer system design in relation to control system integration.

Customer Engagement:

  • Communicate effectively and positively with clients.
  • Adhere to customer-specific standards and procedures.
  • Maintain professionalism in all business interactions.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and support.
  • Be attentive and responsive to client needs.
  • Follow through on commitments made to customers.
  • Develop a keen understanding of customer requirements and proactively address them.
  • Complete tasks accurately and efficiently.

Project Management:

  • Understand assigned project scopes and communicate any issues to project leads.
  • Manage individual project tasks and small to mid-sized projects from start to finish.
  • Provide regular updates on task status.
  • Be aware of project contracts and specifications.
