Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Goudreau Personnel Services LTD. As a key member of our Engineering team, you will be responsible for identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles to optimize production processes and reduce waste.
  2. Support the development of new manufacturing processes and create/implement new standard operating procedures to ensure efficiency and quality.
  3. Analyze workstations for efficiency and implement improvements using tools and time studies.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage projects and ensure effective communication.
  5. Conduct Process Failure Modes and Effects Analyses (PFMEA) to prevent manufacturing problems.
  6. Provide technical support to improve process performance and reduce manufacturing costs.
  7. Streamline and simplify existing processes and work methods.
  8. Support Process Sign-Off (PSO) and PPAP activities to ensure processes are ready for full production.
  9. Eliminate waste and optimize manufacturing operations.
Requirements:
  1. Degree or diploma in Manufacturing, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
  2. 1-3 years of experience in a similar role.
  3. Project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
  4. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S and 6-Sigma principles.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
  7. Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project.
