Position Overview:

The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for receiving shipments from various facilities, vendors, and customer returns. Key responsibilities include:

  • Stocking products received from manufacturing facilities and vendors.
  • Restocking unused items from customer returns.
  • Reporting any damaged, missing, or used products to the warehouse or distribution manager.
  • Manually organizing items in case good quantities.

Order Fulfillment:

Accurate order pulling is essential to ensure the correct product, size, and quantity are delivered. Responsibilities include:

  • Pulling orders based on picking slips or greenbar reports.
  • Preparing orders for truck line shipments, SRD's, and CPU's.
  • Utilizing equipment such as two-wheelers, carts, forklifts, and order pickers, while lifting case goods, pails, and drums.

Shipping and Compliance:

Responsibilities include:

  • Completing picking slips with accurate shipping information.
  • Labeling products and wrapping skids for truck line pick-up.
  • Loading outbound trucks safely while ensuring compliance with DOT regulations.

Additional Duties:

In the absence of the warehouse/distribution manager, the Warehouse Associate will:

  • Perform various tasks such as ordering trucks, conducting cycle counts, managing physical inventory, and training new employees.
  • Engage in Kaizen events and other ZBS initiatives.
  • Oversee distribution and shipping of full truck loads to other Zep distribution centers, including managing truck ship dates and production reports.
