Position Overview

The Associate Director, Total Rewards is instrumental in advancing the vision, mission, values, and strategic goals of Canadian Blood Services. This role involves leading the design, planning, execution, and management of Total Rewards policies, including executive compensation, that align with our overall talent management strategy. Reporting directly to the Director of Talent Programs, the Associate Director will oversee a comprehensive system that encompasses compensation, benefits, and pension programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and monitor corporate Total Rewards programs that align with organizational objectives.
  • Recognize the critical role of Total Rewards in shaping the employee experience and fostering a positive workplace culture.
  • Lead a team of three professionals, providing strategic direction and support to ensure effective service delivery for approximately 1500 non-unionized employees nationwide.
  • Champion best practices and drive transformational change within the organization.
