Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to oversee the general management of our retirement residence. As the Executive Director, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous development. Your expertise in recruiting, training, and mentoring will ensure exceptional service and resident care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain policies to uphold industry standards and regulations
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve financial targets with maximum operational efficiency
  • Lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous development
  • Recruit, train, and mentor staff to ensure exceptional service and resident care
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with regional teams, external vendors, and regulatory bodies

Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) years management experience, preferably in the seniors living industry, hotel, or hospitality-related industry
  • Ability to work flexible hours (evenings and weekends as required)
  • Strong understanding of business planning and processes
