Key Responsibilities- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain high-quality standards
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize inventory
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions
- Prepare food order summaries for the chef to ensure timely and accurate food preparation
- Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and minimize overtime
