Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and dining areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Requisition and Inventory Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Staff Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Food Preparation and Presentation: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, prepare food order summaries for the chef.
- Scheduling and Supervision: Establish work schedules, supervise 1-2 people, and up to 4 people in the kitchen.
- Accessibility and Inclusion: Provide physical accessibility accommodations and awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Assist with immediate settlement needs, recruit newcomers and refugees, and provide diversity and cross-cultural training.
- Support for Youth, Veterans, and Indigenous People: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth, veterans, and Indigenous people.
- Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, willing to relocate, and work 30-40 hours per week.
Requirements: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate, 1-7 months of experience, and a strong understanding of food service operations.
