Job Summary

Fission Logistics Inc. is seeking a skilled Transportation Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our logistics team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of transportation plans, supervising a team of 5-10 people, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and analyze reports to optimize transportation routes and schedules
  • Supervise and train team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
  • Monitor and operate signal and track switch control panels to ensure safe and efficient transportation
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to meet deadlines and customer expectations
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and recommend personnel actions as needed
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in transportation or logistics
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Office, and MS Outlook
