Designing the Future of Human Wearables

OssKin is a pioneering MedTech company revolutionizing the field of human wearable devices with its cutting-edge 3D-printed medical devices and orthopedic innovations. As an Industrial Designer, you will be part of a dynamic Product Development team that combines creativity, technical expertise, and passion for innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive product development from concept to launch, ensuring seamless integration of design, engineering, and manufacturing processes.
  • Create Class-A production-ready 3D CAD models using SolidWorks, pushing the boundaries of design and functionality.
  • Conduct user research and experience studies to inform design decisions and create user-centered solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine design concepts, ensuring they meet safety, performance, and aesthetic standards.
  • Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, manufacturing instructions, and operational manuals.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and manufacturing processes to integrate market insights into design concepts.
Requirements:
  • DEC or Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design and/or Product Design.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in Industrial or Product Design, preferably in wearables, sports goods, or medical devices.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and 3D CAD modeling using Surface and Parametric modeling.
  • Strong understanding of materials and manufacturing processes, including 3D-printing, injection molding, CNC machining, and metal forming.
  • Experience managing complex part interactions and assemblies, as well as hands-on prototyping.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Microsoft Office Suite.
