KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conceptualize innovative product lines of lighting fixtures that align with our brand identity and market strategy;

• Take ownership of the entire product development process from project initiation to commercialization, including concept selection, design, and production preparation;

• Develop three-dimensional CAD models utilizing Solidworks;

• Produce technical drawings necessary for creating mock-ups and prototypes for testing and assessment;

• Engage with suppliers to comprehend manufacturing limitations;

• Possess knowledge of fabrication methods essential for working with sheet metal, metal and plastic extrusion, die-casting, thermoforming, and plastic injection;

• Analyze competing products in the market;

• Assist in defining key selling propositions;

• Support the transition to mass production;

• Act as Project Manager, overseeing project scope, timelines, and budgets;

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design from an accredited institution;

• Proficiency in Solidworks is essential;

• Strong written and verbal communication skills;

• Full command of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook);

• Ability to think innovatively and contribute ideas;

• Exceptional organizational abilities;

• Experience in the lighting sector is a significant advantage;

• Familiarity with UL safety standards is a notable asset;

• Multiple positions available based on experience level;
