Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team as a Project Lead - Mechanical Discipline. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading projects from conception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Lead a team of mechanical engineers and technicians to design, develop, and implement mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Conduct site visits to ensure that projects are being executed according to plan and that any issues are addressed promptly.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as electrical and civil engineering, to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure that their needs are met and that they are satisfied with the services provided.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure that our services remain competitive and of high quality.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Membership in the Order of Engineers of the Province (OIQ).
  • 3-8 years of experience in heavy industry and/or manufacturing.
  • Experience in piping and pressure equipment, material handling, and industrial equipment.
  • Experience in engineering consulting.
  • Knowledge of ASME codes.
  • Bilingual (French and English: spoken and written).
