Job Title: Internal Controller

Schneider Electric is seeking a highly skilled Internal Controller to join our team in Toronto - Mississauga, Canada. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective implementation of internal controls to mitigate risk and promote a culture of compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to assess risk and develop controls that can be embedded into our main processes.
  • Plan, coordinate, and administer the annual Internal Control Self-Assessment process.
  • Review and analyze results of the Control Self-Assessment and Internal Audit to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Draw conclusions and report on results with a focus on risk exposure and continuous improvement.
  • Consult with businesses to provide training and resources to achieve compliance.
  • Summarize and present action plan completion progress to all levels of management.
  • Create and provide Internal Control related training across Canada.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business related field.
  • At least 7+ years of experience in internal and/or external audit, including experience with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) and related controls design, implementation, and testing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate meaningful insights.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Fast learner, objective, straightforward, eager, enthusiastic, and motivated.
