Position Overview

As a Logistics Coordinator at SMC AUTO PART INC., you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and supplies within our operations. Your expertise will contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Record Keeping: Maintain detailed work records and logs to track logistics activities.
  • Traffic Coordination: Oversee the flow of supplies to ensure timely delivery and optimal routing.
  • Material Requisition: Order necessary materials, equipment, and supplies to support operational needs.
  • Communication: Liaise with ships, aircraft, and other remote operations to facilitate logistics activities.
  • Shipment Tracking: Monitor and keep track of shipments to ensure they reach their destinations as scheduled.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Understand and apply cross-border dispatching regulations and practices.
  • Dispatch Coordination: Process and transmit information to coordinate vehicle operators and crews using dispatching equipment.
  • Logistics Planning: Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization.
Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years in a logistics or supply chain role.
  • Employment Type: Permanent position.
  • Language Requirement: Proficiency in English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
