Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Frontier Supply Chain Solutions Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the flow of supplies, preparing and submitting reports, and advising vehicle operators of traffic and other problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supply Chain Coordination
    • Coordinate the transportation of goods and materials
    • Prepare and submit reports on supply chain activities
    • Monitor and analyze supply chain data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Logistics Support
    • Provide logistical support to vehicle operators and crews
    • Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders
    • Coordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews using dispatching equipment
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with vehicle operators, crews, and other stakeholders
    • Collaborate with transportation route and crew schedulers to ensure efficient supply chain operations
  • Technology and Data Management
    • Operate GPS and other navigation equipment
    • Use database software to manage supply chain data
    • Process and transmit information and instructions to co-ordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare and submit reports on supply chain activities
    • Monitor and analyze supply chain data to identify trends and areas for improvement
    Requirements
    • Education
      • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
    • Experience
      • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
    • Skills
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
      • Proficiency in database software and GPS navigation equipment
