Stress Engineering Team Leader

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Stress Engineers in addressing Engineering-related non-conformities in aircraft assemblies.
- Plan, manage, and prioritize the activities of the Stress Engineering team to meet quality, schedule, and budget targets.
- Provide technical guidance to team members to fulfill program requirements effectively.
- Ensure efficient management of tasks related to Structures, Systems Installations, and Integration by collaborating with various Engineering departments, internal and external stakeholders, and major partners/suppliers.
- Work closely with Program Stress DADs, Core DAD, and DAO to enhance team members' skills through coaching, training, ongoing assessments, and constructive feedback, fostering an environment of cooperation and trust.
- Communicate the status of execution, challenges, and escalations to your immediate supervisor as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 11 years of experience in Airframe Primary/Secondary Structural Design, including Systems Installations.
- Strong knowledge of Airframe configuration optimization, loads, stress analysis, materials, manufacturing processes, weight and balance, and structural in-service requirements.
- In-depth understanding of civil aircraft certification regulations and experience with certification processes.
- Preferred candidates will have MRB work experience.
- Availability for a flexible schedule to address urgent technical matters during evenings, weekends, and shutdown periods.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
