Professional Engineer, Stress In-Service Support Specialist

Job Summary:
Bombardier Transportation GmbH is seeking a highly skilled Professional Engineer to join our team as a Stress In-Service Support Specialist. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support for stress in-service repair activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform static strength, fatigue/durability, and damage tolerance analysis on multi-platform aircraft programs.
- Prepare stress reports and static strength analysis for compliance purposes.
- Conduct stress calculations to assess design solutions and repair trade studies.
- Review repair engineering drawings and participate in the development of in-service solutions.
- Provide clear visibility to management on the status and emerging issues related to supported repair activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in mechanical/aerospace engineering.
- Experience in aircraft structural substantiation analysis, including static, fatigue/durability, and damage tolerance analysis.
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Strong initiative, sense of responsibility, and engineering judgment.
