Production Machinery Specialist

The Production Machinery Specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining the efficient operation of production equipment to achieve manufacturing goals. This position requires a commitment to safety and quality while ensuring that machinery is operated, cleaned, and adjusted effectively. The specialist is accountable for producing the designated quantity and quality of goods, working collaboratively with team members, and adhering to all safety and food safety protocols in a dynamic manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute the production schedule as directed by the Production Supervisor.
  • Operate Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) to manage machinery functions.
  • Adjust and calibrate machines according to product specifications while monitoring dimensions and weight.
  • Maintain cleanliness around equipment by disposing of waste properly.
  • Uphold high-quality standards to ensure a superior finished product consistently.
  • Conduct quality inspections as necessary.
  • Assist various departments and production functions as needed.
  • Keep production equipment and work areas clean and organized.
  • Ensure proper staging of materials to maintain product integrity.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Quality Assurance, Food Safety, and Health & Safety protocols.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Working Environment:

  • Weekend shifts may be required.
  • Overtime may be necessary.
  • Capability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

  • Must be able to work in varying temperature conditions.
