About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Production Specialist to join our team at Nations Fresh Foods. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality baked goods and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Preparation: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Baking and Production: Bake mixed dough and batters, and prepare special orders to meet customer demands.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards by inspecting kitchen and food service areas.
  • Maintenance and Operations: Operate machinery and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Work Environment

You will be working in a fast-paced bakery environment with a team of 1-2 people. The ideal candidate will have excellent hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and be able to stand for extended periods.

Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
