Job Summary:

The Director, Disability Management and Benefits will lead the development and implementation of WorkSafeBC's total rewards programs and people technology systems, ensuring effective delivery of compensation, benefits, and people technology services to the People and Culture Division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement total rewards programs and people technology systems to meet organizational strategic goals.
  • Lead the Total Rewards and People Technology Department, ensuring effective delivery of compensation, benefits, and people technology services.
  • Participate in divisional strategic and business planning, policy determination, and decision-making processes.
  • Guide the departmental management team in formulating operational plans, setting priorities, and implementing business plan initiatives.
  • Ensure consistent administration of People and Culture Division policies and practices.
  • Manage financial resources within the allocated budget, planning the annual departmental budget.
  • Demonstrate a flexible and adaptive approach when working with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • An undergraduate degree in Human Resource management or a related field.
  • Considerable experience in a senior HR role or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
