Restaurant Supervisor Job Description

Boston Pizza Cornwall is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of food and beverage servers and other staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Team Management: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Operations and Administration: Establish methods to meet work schedules, requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage, and prepare and submit reports.
  • Staffing and Recruitment: Hire food service staff and supervise food and beverage servers and other staff.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the food service industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform other job-related tasks
