**Job Summary**

Farah Market Express is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team. As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our payroll processes.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees.
  • Store, update, and retrieve financial data, maintaining confidentiality and security.
  • Prepare monthly statements, providing clear and concise financial information to management.
  • Complete and submit documentation for the administration of benefits, including pension plans, leaves, share savings, employment, and medical insurance.
  • Inform employees about payroll matters and benefit plans, providing clear and concise information.
  • Maintain payroll records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain records of employee attendance, leave, and overtime, using manual or computerized systems to calculate pay and benefit entitlements.
  • Prepare T4 statements and other statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Perform data entry, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions.

**Requirements:**

  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.

**Work Environment:**

  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
