Position Overview:
Sinai Health is on the lookout for an Advanced Practice Nurse/Clinical Nurse Specialist (NP-CNS) to become a vital member of the Ambulatory IBD Department. This role will involve collaboration with the Senior Clinical Program Director for Surgical Services.
The IBD Centre of Excellence at Sinai Health is committed to delivering exceptional care for patients suffering from Inflammatory Bowel Disease. Our Centre manages a substantial volume of IBD cases each year, focusing on both inpatient and outpatient care.
Key Responsibilities:
The NP-CNS in the IBD Ambulatory program will be instrumental in ensuring high-quality care for our patients. The responsibilities include:
- Leading advanced nursing practices
- Formulating comprehensive care strategies
- Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Nursing is mandatory
- Active registration as a Nurse Practitioner (Extended Class)
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in evaluating and managing complex patient populations
- BCLS certification is essential
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational abilities
