About the Role

The Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) is a key member of our interdisciplinary team at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. As an APN, you will play a vital role in advancing clinical excellence and improving patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate system leadership and collaboration among healthcare professionals
  • Develop and implement evidence-based practices in a community setting
  • Mentor and support nursing staff in advancing their practice
  • Work collaboratively with interprofessional teams to achieve shared goals
  • Engage in evaluation and research activities to inform practice
Requirements
  • Current Ontario College of Nurses Certificate of competence and BCLS certificate
  • Master's degree in Nursing or a related field (preferred)
  • Nursing leadership experience with demonstrated effective leadership and teamwork abilities
  • 5 years of relevant clinical experience
  • Canadian Nurses Association certification (considered an asset)
