Nurse Specialist

Riverview Health Centre is seeking a skilled Nurse Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide professional nursing services to patients with complex and unpredictable health needs.
Responsibilities:- Provide independent nursing services, including administration of prescribed medical treatments.
- Fulfill a leadership role within the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Facilitate coordination of patient care and discharge.
- Participate in professional growth and development activities.
- Graduate of an approved education program conferring the designation "Graduate Nurse".
- Specialty training related to the clinical area applied for or willingness to complete same within a defined period of time.
- Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM).
- Knowledge of College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba Standards of Practice for Registered Nurses and Canadian Nurses Association Code of Ethics for Registered Nurses.
- Experience in the clinical area applied for.
- CNA certification in a specialty related to the assigned clinical area.
- Active participation in professional associations, such as the Association of Regulated Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM).
The successful candidate will be required to maintain physical health to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.
