Job Title: Cashier/Count

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cashier/Count to join our team at CB Canada. As a Cashier/Count, you will be responsible for managing cash and voucher transactions with patrons, as well as assisting with the removal and counting of cash boxes on the gaming floor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to patrons while handling cash and voucher transactions.
  • Assist with the removal and counting of cash boxes on the gaming floor.
  • Work under Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) regulations and comply with all applicable laws, policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal customers to provide accurate and efficient financial services.
  • Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of cash, foreign currency, and other settlement types.
  • Utilize computer software and systems to process transactions and maintain accurate records.

Requirements:

  • Secondary school diploma.
  • One or more years of experience in customer service and handling cash (preferably large volumes).
  • Strong knowledge of cash, foreign currency, and other settlement types.
  • Working knowledge of computer software and the ability to learn new software and systems.
  • Excellent communication, multi-tasking, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude and ability to work in a physically demanding area.
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to obtain registration as a category 2 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
