Role Summary:
The Cashier/Count position is essential for delivering outstanding customer service while ensuring the precise management of financial assets at the gaming establishment. This role involves direct interaction with patrons for cash and voucher transactions, as well as supporting internal operations in the main bank. As part of the Count team, responsibilities include the systematic removal, replacement, and counting of cash box contents from the gaming floor on a daily basis. This physically demanding role requires continuous movement, including bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage cash and voucher transactions with patrons, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Assist in the counting and handling of cash boxes, maintaining compliance with regulations.
- Work collaboratively with team members to uphold operational standards.
Qualifications:
- Completion of secondary school education.
- Minimum of one year experience in customer service and cash handling, preferably with large volumes.
- Strong understanding of cash management and foreign currency.
- Proficient in computer software with the ability to adapt to new systems.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Capability to work in physically demanding conditions and confined spaces.
- Ability to obtain registration as a category 2 Gaming Assistant with the regulatory authority.
