Job Summary
CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cashier/Count Team Member to join our team. As a key member of our Cage Operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while accurately managing financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to patrons, handling cash and voucher transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
- Work as part of a team to remove and replace cash boxes on the gaming floor daily, ensuring accurate counting and balancing of financial assets.
- Comply with all applicable laws, policies, and procedures, including Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) regulations.
- Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of cash, foreign currency, and other settlement types.
- Utilize computer software and systems to process transactions and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with internal customers to provide support and assistance with financial transactions.
Requirements
- Secondary school diploma required.
- One or more years of experience in customer service and cash handling, preferably in a high-volume environment.
- Strong mathematical aptitude and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, multi-tasking, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to stand and/or walk for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to obtain registration as a category 2 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
