Radiological Technologist Position

We are seeking a skilled Radiological Technologist to join our team at Fraser Health Authority. As a Radiological Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic and medical imaging procedures, observing safe radiation protection practices, and working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic radiographic and medical imaging procedures in compliance with departmental standards and radiation protection practices.
- Operate radiographic and computerized imaging equipment, including processing radiographs and archiving acquired data.
- Monitor patient care and safety, ensuring procedures adhere to department standards and policies.
- Participate in quality improvement and risk management procedures and processes.
- Perform a variety of clerical duties, including data entry and patient demographics.
- Certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
- Demonstrated knowledge and practice of safe work procedures with diagnostic radiographic and medical imaging equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to perform radiographic examinations in compliance with departmental standards.
- Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based practice related to designated modality.
