Job Description: Liability Claims AdjusterWe are seeking an experienced and motivated Liability Claims Adjuster to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of insurance principles and procedures, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills.
Responsibilities:- Investigate and adjust liability claims in a timely and efficient manner
- Gather and analyze evidence to determine the cause and extent of losses
- Negotiate settlements with claimants, attorneys, and other parties involved
- Prepare comprehensive reports documenting claim findings and recommendations
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with industry standards
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless claim handling
- Proven experience adjusting liability claims, including bodily injury
- University degree or post-secondary education in insurance or a related field
- Adjuster's license or current pursuit of CIP designation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Access to a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
