Xpera is seeking a highly skilled Property Claims Adjuster to join our team. As a Property Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for adjusting claims in a timely and efficient manner, while ensuring that business development opportunities are maximized.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adjust claims in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Market and follow-up on business development opportunities
- Manage a dynamic portfolio of claims, requiring strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices
Requirements:
- University degree or post-secondary education related to insurance
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in claims adjusting or a related field
- Access to an appropriate vehicle and a valid driver's license
- Effective analytical and communication skills, including the ability to interpret complex documents and perform advanced numerical calculations
- Adjuster's license or currently pursuing CIP designation
- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively
