We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager of Communications and Customer Service to join our team at the City of Windsor. As a key member of our corporate services department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing an enterprise-wide corporate communications strategy that showcases our city's unique strengths and attractions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive corporate communications strategy that aligns with the city's goals and objectives.
- Lead a team of communications professionals to create and disseminate engaging content across various channels.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including media, community groups, and city council.
- Provide strategic advice to senior executives on communications and issues management.
- Oversee the development and implementation of customer service initiatives to enhance the overall experience for citizens and visitors.
Requirements:
- University degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in corporate communications, with a proven track record of success.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
