Our client, a prominent company based in Delta, is looking to expand its team and is currently seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to report to the Accounting Supervisor. The ideal candidate should have a CPA designation or be in the process of obtaining one, with a proven track record of experience in a complex, multi-company environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bank account reconciliation and revaluation for all entities
  • Recording and reconciling inter-company transactions
  • Performing various financial reconciliations
  • Researching and analyzing transactions for accuracy
  • Assisting with month-end closings
  • Preparing consolidated financial statements
  • Financial reporting and variance analysis
  • Assisting with audits and compliance
  • Assisting with budget planning and tax filings
  • Assisting with inventory count and adjustments

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of finance, accounting principles, and GAAP
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and advanced Excel
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
