About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at Prism Construction Ltd. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Statement Preparation

Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Accounting Operations

Supervise and train staff to ensure efficient and accurate accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.

Financial Analysis

Analyze financial documents and reports to identify trends and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to management.

Compliance and Risk Management

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, procedures, and internal controls, and identify and mitigate potential risks to the company.

Requirements
  • Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a construction industry setting.

Skills

Proficient in MS Excel and Sage Accounting Software, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment

Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
